Single Wall Drill Pipe
a. Single wall drill pipe in Caston is made from special pipes used for petroleum. With a unique pipe end upsetting technique, the ends of our drill pipe are in line with API 5D standards
b. The heat treatment for pipes allows for a steel grade of G105 or S135
c. The blank forging technique for joints and the controllable nitriding treatment is conducted in accordance with API SPEC7-1 standards
d. Heat treatment deformation technique is adopted for the welded area, with the welding seams in keeping with API SPEC 7 standards
e. We perform 100% flaw detection test for welding seams and joints
f. 100% inspection is employed for the welding seam on 3 points, which are uniformly distributed on the round section

b. The pipes are given unique 2-step thickening and forming technique
c. The transition area is designed with high smoothness to reduce resistance for mud
