The stainless steel wire cloth produced by Huanyu is primarily made of 302, 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 430 and other stainless steel wire types.

304 stainless steel consists of 18% chromium and 8% nickel, making it ideal for use to produce wire cloth that is capable of being used outdoors for long periods of time. It will not rust or oxidize, even under temperatures as high as 800 degrees centigrade.

304L is similar to 304, with the exception that it has a lower carbon content, which makes the weaving easier.

316 stainless steel contains an additional 2% molybdenum and more. In acidic environments, it is more corrosion resistant than other chromium and nickel stainless steel. It is high temperature resistant, to temperatures as high as 1200℃, and has a better creep resistance. It also features better resistance to creep.

316L is quite similar to 316. The difference is less carbon content, which makes it easier to weave.

Application
The stainless steel wire cloth features an outstanding corrosion resistance, which makes it ideal for industrial and construction uses for grit screening and fluid filtering. The wire is relatively thick in diameter, so that it can be turned into a protective fence.
