Full Circle Hammer Mill
The full circle hammer mill has a full circle or teardrop designed grinding chamber. It is also known as the teardrop designed screen hammer mill. This grinder gets its name from the 300-degree nearly full screen coverage of the rotor. In simple words, there is a teardrop-shaped, perforated screen being wrapped around the internal wall of the grinding chamber. So of course, the grinding chamber also takes the shape of a teardrop or water drop.
Features of Full Circle Hammer Mill
1. A second hammering action takes place at the bottom of the hammer mill chamber, which improves production by 15% and produces uniform size particles.
2. Full circle or teardrop designed grinding chamber keeps the air or material flow under control, thereby improving material handling capacity.
3. Via adjusting the clearance or gap between the hammer plate and the screen, the full circle hammer mill can achieve either coarse or fine particle size reduction.
4. The rotor has been put through dynamic balance tests to ensure more stable operation with less vibration and noise.
5. Case hardened hammer pin has been through sintering process under vacuum conditions. Perforated screen is made of premium quality carbon steel for prolonged life and reduced wear risks.
6. Direct drive uses Bibby coupling to compensate for the misalignment of motor and rotor and reduces additional heat of shaft caused by misalignment.
7. Imported high quality bearing is designed to offer stable operation and long use life.
8. Feeder options: rotary vane feeder available with VFD, or auger feeder with step-less speed controller.
