Compression Springs, Conical Springs, Tapered Springs
KLF provides conical compression springs with the wire diameter range of 0.1mm to 1.5mm and made of a variety of materials. We use a CNC automatic spring machine, and a camless spring machine to manufacture the small tolerance precision spring.
The conical spring has a variable coil diameter. It has a large diameter at one end and a small diameter at the other end, with the diameter of the middle coil constantly changing. These springs provide a near constant rate, and because of their telescopic ability, offer a lower solid height than a normal compression spring.
We keep a large amount of conical compression springs in stock, as they are commonly used in battery contacts and push buttons. These springs are not only known by their properties, but for the fact they are more stable, and less easily bent than ordinary compression springs.

- Compressibility
These springs feature a higher compression rate than other springs, and can be compressed based on the thickness of the spring wire diameter.
- Stability
More stable since its bottom diameter is larger than top diameter.
- Vibration
Reduced the spring resonance and vibration because of the uniform pitch and larger coil density in the bottom.
- Service life
It has a longer service life than cylindrical compression springs because the different diameters of each pitch offers enough space to expand for conical compression springs.
