Pellet Mill Conditioner
Installed right above a pellet mill, the pellet mill conditioner adds nutrients into the conditioning chamber, all while moving the material around to ensure it maintains full contact with them. The resultant mixture can have a smooth surface finish.
By setting parameters from a control panel, operators can control the amount of liquids added. This is accomplished by adjusting the rotational speed of the gear pump and the rate of flow through the injection ports. These parameters can be stored in the memory of the built-in PLC microcomputer.
Liquids that can be injected into the conditioning chamber include fats and oils, enzymes, vitamins, organic acids, and micro-organisms among various other nutrients and chemicals.
