Paper Machine Rolls

Suction Couch Roll
- As for our suction couch roll, it is comprised of roll body, vacuum box, operating side and roller bearing of the drive side, spray pipe, air cushion tube, rubber wheel and vacuum regulating valve, which is exactly the same as the components of suction pickup roll. Equally important, the thickness of the roll shell is determined by the required solidity and intensity to some extent. The stainless steel suction couch roll is mainly dewatered through its inner vacuum chamber, and its vacuum inside the chamber can result in higher-intensity dewatering, while dewatering time and the amount of air passing through the wet paper are just other supporting factors.
Suction Press Roll
- The vacuum suction press in the paper industry, in most cases, is equipped with similar configuration to common press. Nonetheless, the eccentric direction of the vacuum press is absolutely opposite to that of the commonly used press, namely the upper roll of the press is offset by 50-60 mm in relation to the lower roll in the operation direction. In addition to that, the vacuum suction press technology is widely applicable in various high-speed paper machines, as well as an indispensable component of the multi-grade press.
Suction Pickup Roll
- As a fundamentally critical component of the paper machine, the vacuum suction pickup roll consists of the roll body, vacuum box, spray pipe, adjusting screw, as well as innovative pressure system and vacuum system. Breast Rolls

The breast roll body is generally made of seamless steel tube or rolled steel panel, with surface covered with rubber. Additionally, thickness and hardness of the breast roll is tailored to your various demands. More importantly, the breast roll is definitely equipped with doctor blades, so that the pulp does not follow the roll and get caught between the roll and the forming fabric.
Guide Rolls

Huatao guide rolls are divided into two types of rolls, which are felt guide rolls and wire guide rolls. And paper guide rolls, wire guide rolls, as well as chrome-plated rolls are evenly distributed in the paper making machine. Different kinds of guide rolls has different applications, among which our guide rolls are widely used in paper, textile, printing and dyeing, iron and steel industries. The guide rolls guide and drive the mesh and felt in the wet end and drying section of the paper machine.
Although the same bearings are used for the guide rolls in both areas, different lubrication and seals are used in accordance with varied applications. As for conventional paper machine, the wet end of the machine is often lubricated with grease and the drying section is applied with oil. By comparison, in modern paper machines, both the wet end and drying section are lubricated with oil respectively.
Curved Rolls

The curved roll for paper making is equipped with rotatable curved roll surface to stretch paper, so as to eliminate wrinkles in the paper processing stage. Types vary from rubber curved rolls, metal curved rolls to height adjustable curved rolls, and special shaped rolls that can be customized according to customers’ needs.
