- After long term use, electrode pads lose their stickiness due to water loss or dirt. When this happens the first time, simply dip your hand into a small amount of clean water and clean the electrode surface that comes in contact with the skin. This increases the water content and removes any dirt. Let the electrode dry before use. This increases the pad stickiness and prolongs the service life.
