Three Phase Bridge Rectifier Transformer
Also know as rectiformer, the three phase bridge rectifier transformer is connected to AC power grid on the primary side and to a silicon controlled bridge rectifier on the secondary side (also called the valve side). The output wave is by no means a sinusoidal wave. Different rectifier types may require different wiring methods on the valve side.
Uses
The number of uses for a three phase bridge rectifier transformer is nearly endless, such as for electroplating, traction, transmission, DC power supply, charging, electromagnetic excitation, electrostatic precipitation, and cascade control.
