Modern VICUT CNC routerfeatures a high-capacity automatic tool changer that automatically swaps tool-holders in and out of the spindle as needed. Atotal of 10 tools can be swapped in or out during one complicated machiningprocess whereby complex objects are machined. ATC CNC Router ComponentsExplained
1. Base
Made of heavy-duty tubular steel, the base framing is a welded structure whichis precisely machined by gantry milling machine and stress relieved byvibration equipment so that the foundation remains steady over the operationallife of VICUT CNC engraving machine.
2. ATC Spindle with Dust Ruffles
HSD air cooled spindle is equipped with an automatic tool changer whichcomes in handy in the machining of wood, aluminum, and plastics. Characterizedby its exceptional reliability and high speed from 6000 to 24000rpm, the9KW/12HP spindle is completed by a pneumatically operated retractable vacuumhood, standard ER collets, and ISO30 tool holders. Each mechanical, pneumaticand electronic part has been double checked to ensure optimal qualitystandards.
3. 8-Position Turret
The 8-position turret is installed at the rear of CNC router to facilitateloading and unloading of material from either side of the machine.

4. CNC Controller
Taiwan Syntec controller is specifically designed for use on ATC CNC router, with MPG forhigh accuracy positioning. It supports USB flash drives and is very easy forusers to do wiring which can save a lot of installation time. The controller issupportive of 4 servo axes 1 spindle. Up to 4 axes can interpolate simultaneously. Plus, the controller haspower failure protection function.

5. Servo Motor
The drive system consistsof a Panasonic high-power AC servo motor which is directly connected to aplanetary gearbox. This unique power transmission system delivers maximizedtorque when the motor runs at rated power, which suits the ATC CNC router forhigh load applications. Smooth machining process enables long-termmaintenance-free operations.

6. Helical Gear Rack, Reducer
Top-notch helical gear rack makes cutting smoother and more precise. Thereducer lessens vibration during cutting.

7. Square Linear Guide
THK 25MM linear square guide of ATC CNC router provides adeeply grooved raceway with its diameter so close to that of the steel ballsthat run on it. The guide rails offer high rigidity, vibration and shockresistance as well.

8. VacuumTable, Pump
Multi-zone vacuumchuck allows operators to easily switch from full-sheet processing to smallerpart machining. Each zone can be turned off easily with the switches at thefront of CNC router. Gaskets can also be adjusted to seal against the perimeterof material in various sizes and styles. Air-cooled vacuum pump offers enoughpower to clamp down the material on the vacuum table.

9. Central Oil Lubricator
Central oillubricator makes it easier to lubricate the linear guide rails. Just pull thelubricator gently and oil will go where it is needed.

10. Mist Sprayer
Mist sprayer of ATC CNC router sends oil mist to the surface being machined.The oil mist is important for tool cooling and lubrication.

11. Tool Sensor
Automatic tool length calibration allows for easy and accurate setting of“Z” zero position. Through CAD or CAM programming, operators can easily swap in or out single or multiple tools,which saves time and iserror-free.

12. Electric Cabinet
Housed within the mobile, double-door electrical enclosure are neatly wiredelectrical components that attach the ATC CNC router to the power supply. Thisenclosure allows for easy access and servicing by users when needed. Each wireis tagged so that users can easily identify the cabinet when servicing isneeded. 

13. Photoelectric Limit Switch
More sensitive anddurable than traditional mechanical switch, maintenance-free for long term use.

14. Foot Pads
The foot pads make it easier to level the machine accurately.
