• Rewinding and unwinding system
  

  The process of rewinding and unwinding are generally done by workers, thus how well the rewinding and unwinding system is designed significantly influences the working hours of employees.

  We adopt an expanding air shaft to rewind and unwind because it simplifies the process of tightening or detaching the web roll on a large scale. There is no need to detach the whole roller. Deflating and inflating the expanding air shaft is enough for reloading the web roll.
• Tension controlling
  

  For roll-to-roll production lines, especially continuous production lines, the tension of the web roll is a decisive factor in whether the producing process can run, and influence the precision and straightness of the product.

  According to different demands from the clients, we adopt different solutions to tension controlling problem. Such as:

  • Servo motor：easy to control, with higher precision. Suitable for clients with greater printing quality demands.
  • Magnetic particle clutch：control precision not as good as servo motor, but with good tension stability and a wider applicable range than torque motor.
  • Torque motor：capable of rotating reversely, with simpler structure and lower cost. Suitable for clients with lower demands in tension precision.
• Ensurance in printing precision
  

  The promotion in printing precision is a systematic matter with consideration about means of driving system and live surveillance. To live up to high demands of printing quality from the packaging industry, we promote the printing precision of the rotogravure press in the following ways:

  • Multiple servo motors compose the driving system of rotogravure press to promote stability of operation and printing precision.
  • Synchronous motors controlled by computer register the colors automatically. This is the most direct way of promoting printing precision.
  • Cameras and video surveillance to ensure printing precision. If the patterns differ from the ones designed, the computer will inform the workers to reconcile the deviation of color register.
  • Shaftless drive system which wears less and works more efficiently.
  • Unwinding system with deviation correction system to prevent deviation of the web roll and its influence on printing precision.
• Printing pressure controlling
  

  For the gravure printing press, printing pressure of the roller influences the evenness of ink, thus decides whether the final present of the printing is clear and neat.
  So, the roller and heavy doctor blade of all our gravure printing presses are pneumatic, which enables the machines to print with stable pressure on whatever material.
• Drying system
  

  The dismountable dryer is installed at the top of each printing unit. Thus the printings can be dried efficiently.
  Besides, drying system and air circulation system of Deguang’s gravure printing press can be designed as separate parts and dry the printings with the hot air produced by the operation of the machine. The recycling rate can reach up to 50%. This considerably increases the economic benefit of the printing system.
