Features
Generally, CTAC is a white or light yellow. Whether it is solid or liquid is decided by the content of the effective substance. It is soluble in water and easily soluble in isopropanol. It has great compatibility with cationic, nonionic and ampholytic surfactants. However, it can’t be used with anionic surfactants at the same time. It should not be heated at 120℃ or above for a long time.
Applications
CTAC is widely used as emulsifier for synthesis of pitch, waterproof paint and silicone oil, softener for the synthesis of fiberglass, addition agent for medicine industry, emulsifier and conditioner for the production of hair conditioner and cosmetics, chemical assistant for synthesis of leather, foaming agent for formulation of emulsion, softener and antistatic agent for synthesis of fiber, covering agent for organic bentonite, protein flocculant, water treatment flocculant and sanitizer for silkworm nursery and rearing instruments.
