Major Characteristics
1. Brake System
The Schindler escalator and moving walkway by our company are both equipped with a special brake. Similar to the ABS system in auto cars, it prohibits the transportation device running in the opposite direction and avoids possible accidents and injuries.
2. Scientific Support Structure
The truss and girder are tightly connected with each other, jointly bearing the pressure from the conveyor. The scientific support structure significantly decreases the bending moment and deflection and avoids the deformation of the truss.
3. Anti-Earthquake
When natural disasters happen, the anti-earthquake capacity provides effective protection of all passengers.
4. Energy-Saving
When the escalator / moving walkway runs at the rated speed, it is driven by 50HZ power supply while the frequency changer is not put into usage. When empty running for several minutes, the Schindler people mover will shifts to a mode that is controlled by frequency converter. Under this mode, the machine runs at a low speed and saves a lot of energy. When someone entering, after the frequency converter boosts the speed to the rated speed, the machine will automatically switch back and be driven by the power supply.
5. Protection System
Backed by Can bus technique, the protection system is covered in the entire machine and creates a protection network. It prevents the happening of malfunction and human injuries.
