Solid CBN Insert
To solve problems in processing cast iron and cast steels, we developed the FBN series polycrystalline cubic boron nitride (PCBN) cutting tools. Using these PCBN cutting tools, you can control the processing size to within ±0.01mm, and the roughness below Ra0.8-1.6μm. This reduces your costs in purchasing grinding equipment. The PCBN cutting tool can complete the finishing of all complex shapes and surfaces and shorten the production time. It features dry cutting, energy efficiency, and is environmentally friendly, which means that it is successful in promoting the "turning instead of grinding" processing method, as it uses less power and emits less pollution. Our PCBN cutting tool has been widely used to process gears and bearings.

The FBN series of PCBN cutting tools have excellent resistance to impact, and both sides of the cutting edge can be used for cutting. They are preferred tools for roughing and finishing of gray cast iron, wearing resisting cast iron, cast steel and more.
In China, we are the largest CBN cutting tool manufacturer, and have the largest base for the R&D and production of super abrasives and ultra-hard cutting tools, with nearly 25 years of experience in manufacturing CBN cutters. Compared to carbides and ceramics, the cubic boron nitride has a higher red hardness and a stronger impact resistance. A number of experiments and case studies have proven that the service life of these PCBN cutting tools is up to a dozen times longer than other coated tools.
