Idler set is the component that a conveyor uses the most. It can be divided into carrying idler set and return idler set. The former is used to bear the load, while the latter is applied to support the conveyor belt. Carrying idler set can be further subdivided into troughing type, impact type, suspended type and self-aligning type. Return idler set is subdivided into flat return idler set and training return idler set.

Troughing Idler Set
Troughing idler set is designed for delivery of granular bulk materials. It comes with a groove angle, which provides load support during material transmission. The angle can be 10, 20, 30, 35 or 45 degrees. Generally, the mounting spacing is ranging from 1,000 to 1,200mm. It can also be adjusted based on users' specific requirements.

Suspended Idler Set
Suspended idler set belongs to carrying idler set. Its idlers are connected together with pins. Both ends are attached with a stamped claw piece, which significantly facilities installation.

Impact Idler Set
Impact Idler set is one kind of troughing idler set. One of its distinct characteristics is that its idlers are wrapped with rubber ring. It is usually installed after the feeding section of a conveyor to alleviate the impact imposed on conveyor belt by drop ping the material. As a result, the service life of conveyor belt will be significantly extended.

Training Idler Set
Training idler set is dedicated to preventing a conveyor belt from drifting. It is able to increase friction between the belt and the idlers, generate a inclined angle. In this way, relative speed between the belt and the idlers changes to prevent belt offset. As a result, stable material transportation can be ensured. Generally, one training idler set is installed between every ten regular idler sets.
