KYN28-12 high voltage switch cabinet is indoor power distribution equipment with three-phase AC 50Hz, nominal voltage 12kV, and operating current 4000A. It is applied for power receiving and distributing of power plant, substation and mining industries. It plays a vital role in the control, protection and inspection of circuit. Another application is for frequent power receiving and distributing place.

Structure specifications:

1. KYN28-12 high voltage switch cabinet is designed according to IEC298 standard.
2. The KYN28-12 is composed by cabinet and extractable parts. The cabinet adopts aluminum-zinc alloy coated or zinc coated steel plates. The plate is connected by bolts.
3. The cabinet is separated by metal partitions into breaker chamber, main bus chamber, cable chamber, relay chamber and panel chamber. All the metal structure is connected to ground.
4. Inside the cable chamber, 10*60mm grounding bus bars can be set.

Main features:

1. Interlock design: avoid mistakenly tripping or resetting the circuit breaker; make sure the electricity circuit is completely de-energized when tripping or resetting the disconnector.
2. KYN28-12 can be equipped with ZN63A(VSI) vacuum circuit breaker, VD4 vacuum circuit breaker, ZN21 vacuum circuit breaker, 3A1-1 vacuum circuit breaker, VB2 vacuum circuit breaker, VEP vacuum circuit breaker, VC7 vacuum contactor and so forth.
3. The cabinet can lean against the wall to reduce floor space.
4. Breaker chamber and cable chamber can be equipped with heaters to avoid condensation and corrosion.
5. Cable chamber has sufficient space for multiple cables.
6. The protection grade of cabinet’s shell is IP4X, and of each chamber is IP2X.
