Three-phase Capacitor (Self-healing Type)
Shuangfeng three-phase capacitor is most often connected in parallel with a low-voltage 50Hz or 60Hz power supply to boost power factor rating, minimize power loss, and enhance the capacity of the electrical transformer. This self-healing capacitor is an excellent power-saving supplement to any power system.
Working Conditions
1. Make sure the remaining voltage across the capacitor drops below 10% of rated voltage after it is cut off from the power supply before reusing the capacitor. This process generally takes about 200s. Therefore, capacitor operators need to choose a control device with time delay functionality. For one without any time delay feature, add a discharge function to aid in discharging.
2. Altitude: No more than 2000 meter above sea level.
3. Operating Temperature: -25°C~50°C. The average temperature should be no more than 40°C in 24 hours. That limit drops to 30°C in a year. Do not use a capacitor in an ill-ventilated room.
Features
1. A lightweight, space-saving package allows easy installation.
2. Metallized polypropylene film.
3. Less heat, minimized power loss
4. Excellent Self Healing Capability
5. Maximum safety. Built in bleeder resistor and protective device discharge remaining electric charge and cut off power supply in the event of electric breakdown.
6. No hazardous leakage. Environmentally friendly.
Dipped in microcrystalline wax, the dry-type three-phase capacitor is oil free. This means there is no risk of hazardous leak which is eco-friendly.
