Offshore Transportation Pile of Marine Wind Tower Generator
Design organization: TMS Marine, Holland
Manufacturer: SDHM Heavy Machinery
Explanation
During the installation process of traditional marine wind power equipment, barges are required for the transportation of the wind tower generator to the construction site. This is often a low efficient, high cost project, and in seeking an answer to this, TMS spend years researching and developing a series of reusable tower generator marine transportation conveyors for delivering these wind tower generators. They then sent these designs to us for implantation and manufacturing.
The offshore transportation pile is designed to achieve transportation of the wind power column by requiring only a single tug, which is more efficient and cost effective than traditional piles that required two barges. Transportation costs were reduced by at least 80%.
The pile facilities were manufactured by SDHM Heavy Machinery; the rubber seals were supplied by TMS and delivered after they were assembled and debugged in the factory. The pile size diameters ranges from 2 to 8 meters, and in some cases, more than 8 meters. In order to reduce machining workloads and save materials, the customers were extremely strict about welding deformation control requirements.
Currently, SDHM Heavy Machinery has supplied more than 80 sets of vertical piles in different sizes to TMS Marine.
Here is a project of our offshore transportation pile for marine wind tower generator, and our company provides all kinds of custom steel structures for heavy equipment. We have supplied large welded steel structures like wind power tower structure, offshore structure, and mining structure for many brand companies. By using quality raw materials and complete manufacturing equipment, we offer quality heavy duty marine structures for global customers.
