Works as an excellent vulcanizing agent for silicone rubber, providing safe handling at 75°C and a vulcanization temperature of 90°C. The recommended dosage ranges between 1.1% and 2.3%. Beyond its use in the rubber industry, CBPO is also in the manufacturing of low-voltage power cable rubber materials and composite rubbers.
-
Packaging
Typically supplied in 20 kg fiberboard drums, lined with a plastic inner bag to ensure proper protection. Packaging can also be customized according to specific customer requests to accommodate different needs.
-
Storage
Store in a tightly sealed container in a well-ventilated space, with the temperature maintained below 30°C. Avoid storing near reactive chemicals, such as acids, alkalis, reducing agents or heavy metals (including accelerators and metallic soaps), and ensure the product is not repackaged or handled inside the storage area.
-
Storage Stability
When stored under the recommended conditions, CBPO can maintain its stability and quality for up to three months.
-
Safe Handling
Keep the product away from fire, heat sources, and potential ignition points.
Prevent contact with reducing agents like amines, acids, alkalis, and heavy metal compounds, as these can cause dangerous reactions.
Always review the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for this peroxide to ensure safe usage and handling practices.
