Coordinate Measuring Machine (for Large Workpieces Measuring), TITAN Series
Titan Series is our latest generation of bridge coordinate measuring machine with single side high rack technology for large scale measurements. It is mainly developed for measurement and inspection of large sized or ultra heavy workpieces. As one of advanced laboratory equipment, the 3D measuring machine provides touch-trigger and scanning probe options available for high precision and efficient inspection of large sized workpieces.
This series bridge coordinate measuring machine is specially designed for large sized workpieces, especially sheet metal parts. It is mainly applied in wind power, aerospace and automobile industries etc.
1. Titan series bridge CMM features a right and lightweight single side high rack guideway in Y direction. While notably improving the precision on Y-axis guideway during the motion and reducing the weight of mobile bridge support, this specific design can enhance motion performance of the 3D measuring system, drastically lower the rate of beam sways during Y axis motion and ensure system precision and stability.
2. Three axes (X axis, Y axis and Z axis) are engineered from high quality granite, ensuring small coefficient of linear thermal expansion coefficient. α=3.0(10-6/K). With same temperature characteristics, they boast superior temperature stability, anti-transmogrification performance, and small geometrical error in motion.
3. The coordinate measuring machine features static pressure, air-float guideways in three axis directions, combined by self-cleaning, pre-loading and high precision air bearings. They provide large bearing span, strong anti-sway performance, small resistance, no abrasion and higher stability in motion.
4. It employs theRENISHAW measurement system with reflective metal strip gratings. Excellent repeatability with high accuracy can be achieved because of similar thermal expansion coefficient with most workpieces.
5. The driving system for three-axes boasts unique proprietary technology and adopts wire rope driving method. This ensures the system of smaller following error during motion and faster response, thus greatly improving the dynamic performance and minimizing the influence of movement inertia on measuring precision. In addition, wire rope driving system lowers the cost of usage and maintenance, and makes maintenance more convenient.
6. The Titan series bridge coordinate measuring machine is proud of 21 geometric error compensation technologies that can dramatically improve measuring precision.
7. Z axis features adjustable pneumatic balance installation which greatly improves the orientation precision and stability of the axis.
8. The bridge type coordinate measuring machine for large scale measurements is provided with a high precision filtration system imported from Japan. The system assures the compressed air of 5µm filtration accuracy, thus effectively avoiding the damage of starting system caused by bad compressed air quality.
9. To match customer's actual measuring needs, the bridge CMM is equipped with RENISHAW touch trigger probe or scanning probe.
10. Using the RATIONAL DMIS measuring software, the bridge coordinate measuring machine provides perfect measuring and online function.
