The CA910 cement accelerator is a kind of highlyeffective early strength accelerator, which can significantly shorten thecuring time of cement slurry and obviously enhance the early strength of setcement.  Our cement accelerator includesCA910L liquid in the color of faint yellow and CA910S powder with gray whitecolor. The liquidcement accelerator has a pH value of 6.0±1.0 and a density of 1.40±0.05 g/cm3.This cement accelerator smelling slightly pungent can be completely dissolvedin water and frozen at the temperature of -15℃ or lower. Our cement accelerator inthe form of powder has a bulk density of 0.90±0.10 g/cm3 and is partly solublein water.

Composition of the CA910L CementAccelerator

Our cementaccelerator is applied to industry only. The liquid cement accelerator issuitable for use when mixed with water, while the dry cement accelerator can bedirectly mixed with other components. Both of them are efficient when the BHCT is normally within the rangebetween 68℉ and 140℉ or between 20℃and 60℃. The dosage of the liquid cementaccelerator is generally 4.0-8.0% (BWOC), and the recommended amount is 6.0%(BWOC). Our powder cement accelerator generally adopts a dosage of 1.0-5.0%(BWOC) and a recommended amount of 3.0% (BWOC). In addition, the CA910Scontains chloridion and is slightly hygroscopic, so it isbetter to determine the required purchases according to the amount of usage.Out of shelf life, this cement accelerator can only be used after passing theinspection.

Performance of Slurry with the AddedCement Accelerator

Our cement accelerator has three major invasive routes, including skin or eyecontact and accidental inhalation or ingestion. Although it may bring somehealth hazards to the human body, it will not cause deadly cancer. It irritateseye and skin slightly, and stimulates the respiratory tract by carelessinhalation, aw well as has a stimulating effect on the oral cavity and stomachby careless ingestion. Swallowing 100ml cement accelerator will bring aboutsymptoms like convulsions, paralysis, drowsiness, breathing difficulties, etc.In addition, this cement accelerator is also slightly toxic to living beingssuch as fish and animal. When the cement accelerator contacts the skin, theperson should put off the contaminated clothing and rinse it with soapy andclean water. If the cement accelerator gets into the eye, the person shouldraise the eyelid and rinse it with plenty of clean water and physiologicalsaline. If careless ingestion occurs, the person is required to drink plenty ofwater to induce vomiting. When accidental inhalation happens, the person needsto breathe some fresh air immediately. If the above mentioned measures didn’twork, the person should consult a doctor.

The cement accelerator should be stored in a dry and cool place, where exhaustventilation is available and sun and rain is not accessible. It should also beprevented from fire and heat and incompatible strong oxidizers.  When put into use, the cement acceleratorkept in the airtight container should be handled with care. The person relatedneeds to avoid skin and eye contact and wear proper personal protection, suchas the protective clothing, gloves and goggles. Dining, smoking, and waterdrinking on the working spot are all forbidden. When an accidental releaseoccurs, the user should wear the above recommended equipment, and then collectthe leakage and clean the site. When the cement accelerator is on fire, thecommon fire fighting medium like foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide, and water issuitable for fire extinguishing. By the way, the waste cement acceleratorshould be properly buried or handled based on local environment requirements,and packing materials need to be transferred to the dumping site for properdisposal.

Our liquid cement accelerator can be packed with 20kg, 25kg or 5 UK gallonplastic barrels, while the powder type can be packed with 25kg composite bag.We can also pack the cement accelerator according to customers’ specialrequirements. Our cement accelerator is not included in the IMDG, IATA, andADR/RID. However, it is compliant with The Management Regulations of DangerousChemicals Management, The Practical Detailed Rules and Regulation for DangerousChemicals Management, The Classification and mark of Common Chemical Products(GB 13690-2009), The General Rule of Common Chemical Products (GB15603-1995),and The Technology Conditions for the Packing Marks for Hazardous Cargo (GB12463 -1990).
