Main Technical Indexes:
1. Introduction
The plastic coated steel pipes are manufactured from common hot dip galvanized pipes or welded pipes lined or coated with polyethylene or epoxy powder under high temperature and high pressure. They combine the advantages of steel pipes and plastic pipes. According to materials, they are suitable for use under a temperature range of -30℃-95℃. The composite pipes comply with the standards of GB/T 17219 and GB5749-2006.
2. Properties
1) Outstanding corrosion resistance: Plastic coating and lining can effectively isolate the fluid from the steel pipe, thus ensuring great anti-corrosion performance and prolonging pipe's service life.
2) Superior mechanical strength: Although coated with a layer of plastic, the pipe comes with the same mechanical strength as steel pipe, allowing for a strong bearing capability to impact, bending and pressing. (Working pressure≤5.0MPa)
3) High hygienic property: Due to use of food grade epoxy resin or polyethylene, the hygienic property of the plastic-coated steel pipe is up to the national standard.
4) Small fluid resistance: Smooth inner wall results in small friction coefficient and fast flow without scaling

6. Good Performance in Hydraulic Test:
Our plastic-coated steel pipes go through the hydraulic test and perform well. Based on the standard of GB/T3091-2008 and counting on P=2ST/D,the maximum testing pressure is 5.0Mpa.
7. Attentions
1) Working pressure is not more than the nominal pressure of pipe.
2) Heating is forbidden to bend the plastic-coated steel pipe.
3) The pipes should be stored flatwise in cool place or indoor area, away from heat source and fire. They can not be placed in the direct sunlight and freezing environment. Rain cover should be used if the pipes are stored in open air.
