Manual sorting conveyors add a controlled picking area to waste sorting lines when some materials still need to be removed by hand. They are usually installed before a trommel screen to take out large items that may affect screening, or after air separation to recover valuable materials more carefully. Workers pick out used clothes, toys, plastic, wood, rubber, and other recoverable materials from the waste stream, then drop each type into the corresponding chute or bottomless bin. From there, the sorted items fall into mobile bins or conveyors below for centralized collection and recovery. These conveyors are suitable for municipal solid waste, landfill stale material, renovation waste, and industrial solid waste.

- Guardrails, emergency stop buttons, and anti-slip flooring are included to reduce operating risks and protect workers during daily sorting work.
- Sorting stations can be customized from 2 to 30, depending on the project layout, material flow, and required manual sorting capacity.
