The IPL hair removal machine uses an intense, pulsed light in order to achieve a hair removal effect. By using selective absorption of special wavelengths in the melanocytes of the hair follicles, special hair follicles will produce thermal energy to selectively damage hair follicles to prohibit future hair regrowth, without damaging the surrounding tissue. The intense pulsed light can penetrate deeply into the skin and selectively act on subcutaneous pigments and blood vessels, allowing it to be used for removing freckles, stains and close abnormal blood capillaries. The intense pulsed light can also stimulate the proliferation of subcutaneous collagen, which is beneficial to the skin.
