High-silica fabric is a kind of high temperature resistant inorganic fiber fabric with a silica (SiO2) content higher than 96%. The fabric's softening point is close to 1700 ℃ and can be safely used at 900 ℃ for long periods of time. The high-silica fabric has the characteristics of high strength, easy processing, and a wide scope of application. It is generally used for materials which are high temperature resistant, ablation resistant, and heat insulating. The high-silica fabric can also be combined with aluminum foil, coated vermiculite coating or coated silica gel coating to enhance its performance depending on the necessary characteristics.
