Polyethylene protective insulating cover is widely used in the insulation of high and low voltage copper busbar connections in indoor and outdoor substations. Our product is heat-shrinkable, which can be used for conventional taping or tubing. The busbar insulating shroud can effectively prevent short-circuit faults, as well as personal injury or death caused by exposed electrical contacts.

Applications

Our busbar insulating shroud can be used for insulating busbar and switchgear joints like tees or elbows in electrical applications of panel boards, as well as overhead lines. Also, it is applicable for indoor and outdoor substations.

Features

Our busbar insulating shroud has excellent insulation performance, which the polyethylene material has characteristics of leakage resistance, corrosion resistance, corona resistance, and tear resistance.
The product is both heat-resistant and cold-resistant. Generally, it can be used in the temperature range of -60~60°C.
Normally, we have color choices of red, yellow, green, and black, but other colors can also be customized.
