C11/C22 dual head CT injector is an automatic contrast media injection system equipped with saline flush technology. After contrast media administration, a preset volume of saline is injected. The saline flush technique ensures that the contrast media reaches the target site at the appropriate time. Its bolus-chasing effect compresses the contrast bolus, increasing its concentration, resulting in stronger enhancement signals. Studies have shown that it can also reduce imaging artifacts during chest CT examinations.
Applications
Dual head CT injector is used for the administration of contrast media, saline or medications during CT contrast-enhanced examinations.
