High-consistency bleaching tower is a kind of device for hydrogen peroxide bleaching reaction of chemi-mechanical pulp and other high concentration pulp (28%-32%). Pulp and bleaching liquid enter the bleaching tower after mixing.
The whole high concentration hydrogen peroxide bleaching process is described in details as below:
- The pulp falls from the top of the tower through the pulp distributor at the top of the tower. After complete reaction, the pulp is discharged from the spiral unloading device at the bottom, then enters into the pulp storage tank.
- This bleaching equipment uses cone structure to reduce the possibility of pulp bridging, the pulp distributor is installed at the top of the tower to reduce angle of natural stacking; tower bottom is designed with a pulp scraper.
