The surface DTH drilling rig features a fully optimized structure, delivering higher drilling efficiency and easier operation. The rig is powered by a diesel engine that drives a hydraulic pump through a transmission system to generate hydraulic pressurized oil, enabling the rotary head, feed system, travel mechanism, and hydraulic cylinders to carry out various operations.

Main Components
  • Chassis KG940A/KG940AH adopts an integrated frame design, with the main beam directly supporting the pivot assembly, ensuring higher structural strength. The frame oscillation angle is increased to ±10°, improving adaptability to uneven terrain and slopes. The crawler assembly adopts a folded-edge design for enhanced structural strength, while the five support rollers improve stability during both traveling and drilling operations.
  • Power Components The rig is equipped with imported high-performance hydraulic pumps featuring high-pressure resistance, large displacement, reliable quality, and long service life. The Yuchai four-cylinder engine provides strong power output and is easy to maintain. The integrated air filter allows convenient cleaning and ensures a stable supply of clean air for engine operation.
  • Rotary System The dual-motor rotary head system is equipped with imported motors that deliver high torque and reliable performance. A switching valve enables dual-speed adjustment of rotation speed to meet different drilling requirements, under various working conditions. Additionally, a rotary head shock absorber device reduces vibration and extends service life. High-strength manganese steel guide rails with integrated wear-resistant plates eliminate the need for additional lubrication and simplify maintenance. The rotary system also adopts a 24B roller chain paired with a hydraulic cylinder, providing strong feed and lifting capabilities with durable performance.
  • Hydraulic System The hydraulic system features high-quality domestic hydraulic valve assemblies and cylinders, combined with imported high-efficiency hydraulic pumps and hoses. Enlarged valve passages (diameter) significantly improve system performance. The independent dual-speed travel control system enhances visibility and operational safety, while the integrated control panel enables real-time monitoring of machine operation.
  • Drill Arm Components The drill arm adopts an extended multi-angle structure, offering a wide drilling coverage range. It supports vertical drilling, fan-shaped left and right lateral drilling, as well as high and low horizontal drilling. The structure ensures high strength and excellent durability for reliable performance under various working conditions.
