Hydrocyclone
Hydrocyclone is also called a hydraulic cyclone. Hydrocyclones can work together as a united set.
Slurry enters the cone through the feed pipe and moves in cicumnutation there. Influenced by the centrifugal force, coarse particles or paticles of large density in the slurry enter the outskirts of the cycle current and are discharged from the underflow discharge at the bottom. Fine particles, less influenced by the centrifugal force, move upwards and are discharged from the overflow pipe. A world-class mining machine, FX hydrocyclone is a newly-invented cyclone of high efficiency, equipped with adjustable feed inlet and underflow discharge. We offer hydrocyclones of three different cone angles: 10°,15° and 20°.
Square-shape pipes are more suitable for feeding, enabling the slurry to get closer to the interior wall of the cyclone. It has smaller resistance and reduces abrasion to the feed box.
The adjustable cuniform feed inlet makes it possible for customers to adjust the size of cyclone inlet quickly, providing better screening effect.
Hydrocyclone is a commonly used mining machine, used extensively in mineral processing, construction materials, silicate and chemical industry. In mineral processing plants of small, medium and large scale, hydrocyclones are generally used to screen, concentrate and dewater mineral ores such as gold, silver, bronze, lead, zinc, nickel, manganese, iron and molybdenum, and also rock, granite, barite, quartz, graphite, feldspar and fluorite.
