Ranging from 0.02mm to 6mm

Copper, copper alloy or other metal conductors with a nickel coating

Nickel-plated wire is made by coating copper, copper alloy, or oxygen-free copper conductors with a layer of nickel, enhancing their oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, and high-temperature performance. Depending on the material and application, nickel-plated wire is available in soft and hard variations, with diameters ranging from 0.02mm to 6mm. At ETO, we offer nickel-plated copper wire and nickel-plated alloy wire, which can be further processed through drawing, annealing, and stranding to meet different industrial requirements.

Typical Applications

Nickel-plated wire is widely used in industries that require high-temperature stability and resistance to environmental factors:

  • Low-voltage electrical components, such as circuit breakers, heating blankets, and thermal overload relays.
  • Aerospace applications, where durability and temperature resistance are critical.
  • Electronic components, ensuring stable conductivity in precision circuits and high-performance electrical systems.
Features
  • Provides oxidation and corrosion resistance, ensuring reliability in harsh environments.
  • Withstands high temperatures up to 200°C, and it’s suitable for demanding applications.
  • Reduces high-frequency signal loss, improving conductor performance in RF and high-frequency systems.
