At the time of our establishment in 1997, Sengtor only manufactured plastic tapes. We owe our success to the introduction of new plastic extrusion lines and machines that allowed us to produce more plastic products like poly bags, garbage bags, shopping bags, and so on.
As early as 2006, Sengtor has been working on the development of fully degradable plastic bags. I was inspired to create biodegradable plastic bags after watching a video about the serious environmental pollution caused by plastics. We quickly became the first company to introduce fully degradable bags in China. In order to better protect the environment, many customers use these bags for the packaging of their products. Our bag formula can be used to produce garbage bags, dog poop bags, shopping bags, etc. Under composting conditions, our bags will break down into water and CO2 in just three months, preventing environmental pollution.
In 2005, we were contacted by Ultra Pro, a well-known gaming product company. Their level of quality needed to be extremely high, so we needed to introduce advanced mechanical equipment and production technology to meet their standards. We have been working closely with them ever since.
In February 2020, due to the impact of the epidemic, the supply chain of masks in China was in short supply. Our company immediately increased the production line to produce KN95 masks for civilians. We invested 12 mask production machines and automatic mask packaging machines, which truly realized masks automated production and improved production efficiency.
At present, Sengtor has more than 200 employees, two-thirds of whom have been working in the company for more than ten years and are well-versed in all aspect of production. Each of our products will undergo three quality inspections to ensure its stable performance and high quality.
