With the best characteristics of both paper and plastic, PP synthetic paper is able to resist water, grease and chemicals such as sulfur and alkaloid. The synthetic paper also features a folding and tear resistance. Unlike natural paper, it will not shed fibers over time. It is reusable and completely biodegradable without harming the environment.

Along with the characteristics of ordinary paper, it also has several advantages found in plastic, including the whiteness, glossiness, light resistance, humidity resistance, corrosion resistance, moth resistance and folding resistance, making it ideal for synthetic paper tags.

The synthetic paper is commonly used in product tags, clothing tags, airline baggage tags, and package tags. It is suitable for offset printing, relief printing, screen printing, flexo printing, intaglio printing, and digital printing. The paper is also available in a variety of thicknesses, including 80, 100, 120, 150, 180, 200, 230, 280, 300, 350, 400, 450 and 500 micrometers.

The majority of product tags on the market today are made from art paper, which is then varnished, coated or laminated with BOPP protective film. The tag quality must be strictly controlled in order to prevent the commodity's value from decreasing due to a missing or destroyed tag and avoiding high end counterfeits.

PP synthetic paper does not feature any of those disadvantages, and is commonly used in the fabrication of clothing tags. With no need to laminate, the synthetic paper is characterized by its excellent tear resistance and waterproof performance. There is no need for UV printing, and ordinary ink and printing methods can be used, saving ink and time.

As an environmentally friendly material, PP synthetic paper is water resistant, tear resistant, features a high whiteness and a high opacity, high printing brilliance, excellent resolution and excellent writing clarity. In addition, the paper quickly dries, is lower cost than traditional paper, and offers a higher printing quality.

The quickly drying synthetic paper is known for its light weight, water resistance, tear resistance, excellent stiffness, printing quality and excellent writing quality. As a result, tags made using PP synthetic paper have a higher water repellency and greater tear resistance than traditional tags made using natural paper. This has led to plastic synthetic paper becoming more widely used in the production of parcel tags.
