Battery-powered rope ascender for lifting persons or loads of up to 250kg

  • Max. Load 250kg
  • Max. Ascent Speed 22m/min
  • Applicable Rope Diameter 9-14mm

The SH2000 electric ascender is a versatile battery-powered rope ascender designed for lifting persons or loads up to 250 kg. Weighing only 18 kg including the battery, the electric ascender combines lightweight construction with high lifting capacity, making it an ideal choice for various aerial work operations. This power ascender opens up the world of high-altitude work to almost everyone, requiring less rope technique training and physical effort from new employees, which in turn reduces the likelihood of mistakes and saves both time and money. It's particularly suited for scenarios where equipment and materials need to be lifted alongside personnel, such as in the maintenance of power utility and wind turbines.

The power ascender is equipped with a high-capacity lithium battery, enabling it to ascend continuously for up to 30 minutes, reaching heights of up to 600 meters at a speed of 20 meters per minute. The device consumes no power during descents, enhancing its operational efficiency. Utilizing a spring-loaded rope clamping mechanism, the power ascender can accommodate a wide range of rope diameters, specifically static ropes from 9-14mm, adhering to EN1891A standards, which highlights the device's suitability for professional use. It assures that the ascender can handle certified ropes designed for high-stress, high-altitude activities, providing a safe and reliable climbing solution.

The ascender features a high-precision coulomb meter for accurate battery level monitoring. It alerts users with a buzzer when the battery is low (around 10%) and automatically switches to a descent-only mode when the battery level falls below 5%, ensuring safe operation. The device includes both overload and overheat protection features. If the load exceeds the maximum capacity or the device overheats, it switches to a descent-only mode. The buzzer alerts users, and normal operation resumes once the motor cools down.

The electric ascender comes with a wireless remote control that operates over a distance of more than 150 meters, including speed adjustment functionality, allowing for precise and convenient control during operations. Equipped with two auxiliary hanging rings, the power ascender provides additional attachment points for tasks such as traversing, diagonal pulling, and using pulleys for double lifting heavy loads.

The ascender can operate in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 60°C. For extreme conditions, it can be customized to function between -30°C and 60°C, ensuring reliability in various environments. Incorporating these advanced features, this electric ascender delivers high performance and safety, ensuring user satisfaction. It stands out as an indispensable tool for a variety of high-altitude operations, providing reliability and efficiency that professionals can depend on.

FAQs

The auxiliary fall arrest rope must use a separate anchor point. The anchor point should provide a minimum holding force of 500 kg without failure or meet the local regulations of the user. Additionally, the connection at the anchor point should not cause wear and tear on the rope.

If the battery level is insufficient, either in standby mode or during use, the power alarm will flash and emit a beep sound to indicate the need for charging. When the battery level is too low, the ascender will only function for descent. Recharge the battery to resume normal operation.

After use, turn off the device and remove the load and rope. Inspect and maintain the rope and harness; repair any damaged equipment, and discard those that meet the discard criteria. Also, perform a thorough check and maintenance of the device.
