Waste feeders, known as chain plate feeders as well, are designed for material feeding and transfer in waste sorting, mining, metallurgy, and other heavy-duty processing lines. Unlike a standard rubber belt, metal chain plates provide a stronger carrying surface for bulk materials, large pieces, sharp items, heavy loads, hot materials, corrosive materials, and finished parts. During the material feeding process, the motor and reducer drive the chains, while the chain plates move the material steadily along a horizontal or inclined route. Waste feeders are equipped with drive unit, transmission shaft, rollers, tensioning device, sprockets, chains, bearings, and chain plates that work together to support stable material feeding in demanding operating conditions.

Notes:
Capacity depends on belt speed, material layer thickness, conveying angle, and material density.
Chain plate feeders are available in light-duty and heavy-duty designs according to plate thickness. The usual plate thickness range is 2–20 mm, and the chain plate width and conveying length can be customized.
