Dispersion unshifted single-mode optical fiber is suitable for wavelengths of 1310nm to 1550nm. The ITU-T regulates Standard Single-Mode Fibers (single-mode fibers with a zero dispersion wavelength of 1.3μm) as G.652 fibers.
