Water well drilling rigs are multifunctional hydraulic drilling units, which are widely used for drilling water wells, monitoring wells, dewatering wells, rescue wells, geothermal air-conditioning holes, as well as for coalbed methane, natural gas, petroleum extraction, and other engineering applications.

The well drilling rigs can perform with a compressed-air hammer positioned at the bottom of the borehole in various geological formations, including those found in high-temperature, low-temperature and high-altitude environments. They maintain a high drilling speed in rock with a a Protodyakonov hardness of f = 4 to 20. All main functions, including mast lifting, drill rod connection and removal, rotation and feed, stabilizing legs, hoisting and movement, are operated through the hydraulic system. The rigs can work with six-meter drill rods or six-meter casing, which reduces manual workload and improves operational efficiency and construction quality. Each model can also be adapted for mounting on a vehicle chassis.
