Camouflaged Communication Tower (Palm Tree Tower)
Palm tree towers are designed to replicate the appearance of a real palm tree, so they can be installed in visually sensitive areas where conventional base station towers are not permitted, such as parks, residential zones, scenic areas, and tourist sites.
A built-in lightning protection system safely guides electrical discharge into the ground, helping protect both the palm tree tower and nearby equipment during storm conditions.
By resembling the leaves and trunk texture of real palm trees, the tower blends in naturally with its surroundings. There are a variety of height options available for palm tree towers, with the most common range being 8 to 40 meters.
The installation of a camouflaged palm tree tower is carried out directly on site through a series of coordinated steps, to make sure every stage, from the foundation to final adjustments, is completed correctly.
Foundation Preparation
The installation process starts with preparing the foundation at the selected site. Excavation is carried out based on the structural drawings, followed by pouring a reinforced concrete base that will support the full weight of the palm tree tower and keep it stable over time.
On-site Assembly of Parts
All components of the palm tree tower are transported to the site and assembled on the ground first, which helps simplify lifting and positioning later on.
Joint and Connection Inspection
After assembly, all connection points are checked using proper tools to ensure the joints are firm and the seals are properly in place.
Tower Lifting and Positioning
The palm tree tower is lifted with the aid of a crane and moved into position above the foundation in a precise alignment with the foundation.
Fixing the Tower to the Foundation
Once positioned correctly, the camouflaged palm tree tower is secured to the foundation using anchor bolts and other fastening elements.
System Connection and Commissioning
After mechanical installation is completed, the electrical and communication systems are connected and tested to confirm normal operation.
Final Exterior Inspection
At the final stage, the trunk finish and palm leaves are carefully checked and adjusted as needed to ensure all visible parts are properly aligned and the tower maintains a neat, natural palm tree appearance.
