TACH is an organic peroxide ideal for medium-temperature processes, typically between 90°C and 130°C. It’s commonly used as an initiator, cross-linking agent, and curing agent in various industrial applications. This colorless or slightly yellow transparent liquid is typically available at an 80±1% concentration. Depending on the specific requirements, TACH can be blended into a 50% solution with isododecane or dibutyl phthalate, or into a 25% solution using ethylbenzene and mineral oil. Custom formulations can also be provided based on client needs.
- Widely used as a polymerization initiator for bulk styrene polymerization at temperatures ranging from 90°C to 120°C. It also acts as an initiator for copolymerization processes involving styrene, acrylonitrile, acrylates, and methacrylates.
- TACH is a highly efficient curing agent for unsaturated polyesters (UP resins), making it ideal for pultrusion, SMC, DMC, and BMC molding processes. Its excellent catalytic performance in SMC and BMC processes ensures superior results.

Packaging
Standard packaging consists of 20 kg polyethylene drums. Custom packaging sizes are available upon request to meet specific customer needs.
-
Storage
To ensure product safety and quality, store TACH in tightly sealed containers in a well-ventilated area, with a maximum storage temperature of 25°C. Avoid contact with reducing agents like amines, acids, bases, and heavy metal compounds (including accelerators and metallic soaps). Prevent the product from being subjected to impact or friction, and avoid repackaging or usage inside the storage facility.
-
Safe Handling
Store the product strictly within the recommended temperature limits. Storing it above critical temperatures may result in fire hazards.
The storage area should be kept free from open flames, heat sources, and static electricity. Ensure proper ventilation and store away from direct light.
When storing large quantities, use a dedicated storage facility. Avoid contact with reducing agents, rust, dust, heavy metal ions, acids, and bases.
Prevent the product from being exposed to impact or friction.
