Power supply of corona surface treatment system
The medium-to-high-power corona generator operates by converting three-phase AC power into DC power and then using IGBT as the power converter to create a half-bridge inverter circuit. This generates a high-frequency, high-voltage AC of about 20kHz, which is boosted by a transformer to produce 15KV, 20kHz high-frequency, high-voltage electricity for the discharge frame. The corona generator boasts advanced technology, reliability, high working frequency, and high output power. It utilizes three-phase controllable rectification technology, allowing users to adjust the output power by controlling the rectification trigger angle α through a panel knob.

Main Features
- The main inverter section of the corona generator uses high-power IGBT power modules and driver circuits, as well as controllable silicon for three-phase rectification and imported integrated circuits for the control part. This ensures the reliability of our corona generator.
- The circuit’s operating frequency changes with the load characteristics, and with the help of a phase-locked loop circuit, it can achieve stable automatic frequency tracking and locking. This reduces stress on the main circuit’s power devices, ensuring that the corona generator operates in its optimal state.
- The corona generator has a soft start function, preventing current surges during startup that could pollute the power grid or damage the corona generator.
- It is equipped with input three-phase power supply phase loss and phase error protection, overcurrent protection, over-temperature protection, inverter lockout protection, and load breakdown protection.
- The corona generator provides an optional function, which protects the coating roller from its insulation layer being damaged by the electrical charge when the roller accidentally stops rotating. It has an optional function of speed tracking capability, which automatically adjusts output power to maintain consistent corona treatment effects as the production line speed changes.
