Application
1. Zinc bromide powder is a high-purity product used to formulate operational fluids for offshore oil wells, such as well finishing liquid, well repair liquid, stationary liquid, etc.
2. Zinc bromide liquor is a clear brine, and it can form completion and workover fluids for oil and gas wells all by itself or in combination of other bromide or chloride salts.
3. This oilfield chemical additive is especially fabricated to fit for conditions where high density (up to 21 lb/gal) is needed and/or precipitation of carbonates and sulfates will take place as a result of other multivalent ions. So, oil or gas production won’t get hindered.
Safety and Handling
For safety considerations, personal protective equipment is highly recommended and actually it is a must. Before work, please refer to the precautions illustrated in the MSDS.
Packaging and Storage
Dry zinc bromide is packed in 25kg PP woven bag or 1MT bulk bag, while liquid zinc bromide is packed in 55USG HDPE drum or 1000L IBC tote tank.
The container should be closed, and then placed at a dry, well-ventilated area that is away from heat, sparks, flames and incompatible materials. For palletizing, banding, shrink-wrapping and stacking operations, please follow safe warehousing practices.
