UD Fabric
UD fabric made of UHMWPE fiber. The specially formulated base material and 2-12 piles of unidirectional fiber flakes are 90°orthogonally arranged to be compositely processed with resin matrix by a specific process, presenting as a white fiber sheet.
The UD fabric can be directly multi-piled into soft bulletproof material, which further subjected to hot pressing can form hard bulletproof elements.
Soft bulletproof materials are mainly used in products with delicate requirements, such as bulletproof vests, bomb blankets, and others. Otherwise, hard bulletproof materials are applied in products with higher shape specifications, such as ballistic helmets, bulletproof plates, bulletproof shields, vehicle armor, and so on.
Longkui mainly produces PE UD fabric to be used in soft bulletproof products, for it is soft, comfortable to wear, light-weight, and has firm protection against shooting threats in diverse environments.
