LNG unloading skid is mainly used to unload LNG from tank truck to storage tanks in small-scale LNG terminals. The LNG unloading pump skid is developed on the basis of general unloading skid by adding unloading pump and several automatic control valves to achieve quick unloading with high efficiency. In general, it takes 1.5-3 hours to unload a tank truck of 50m³.

Features

Main pipelines generally include booster pipeline, cryogenic pump unloading pipeline, liquid pipeline, vapor pipeline, cold circulation pipeline, venting pipeline, draining pipeline, nitrogen purging pipeline and instrument air pipeline, ensuring that the unloading operation is safe, quick, easy to control and accurate in unloading capacity.
This unloading skid is manufactured in accordance with the requirements of EPC and customer’s project. The safety design meets the requirements of SIS and HAZOP while the electrical system satisfies explosion protection requirements of ATEX and IEC.
The air-heat-exchange booster is adopted in unloading process, ensuring easy operation and low operating cost. Using booster to unload a tank truck of 50m³, it takes about 3 hours.
Coupled with automatic control valves in each pipeline, the batch controller is able to automatically control the unloading processes: leakage detection → nitrogen purging → pre-cooling → small volume unloading → mass unloading → purging, thus accomplishing loading operation with one key. The batch controller is configured with display screen, IC card reader and keyboard, the display screen shows the work status of valves and unloading process to assist operator in accomplishing unloading operation.
