Ranging from 0.08mm to 6mm

Aluminum conductor with a thin copper coating

We manufacture two types of copper-clad aluminum (CCA) wire: clad type and electroplated type, each designed to meet different application needs. CCA single wires are available in diameters ranging from 0.08mm to 6mm and can undergo further processing such as annealing, stranding, and plating to achieve specific technical requirements.

  • Clad Type: This wire is produced using a cladding and welding process, where a copper layer is concentrically bonded to an aluminum or aluminum alloy core. The result is a metallurgical bond between the two metals, ensuring they function as a single, inseparable material. Thanks to this structure, clad CCA wire can be processed like a solid metal conductor, undergoing drawing and annealing while maintaining a stable copper-to-aluminum ratio throughout the process.
  • Electroplated Type: For this type of wire, a controlled layer of copper is applied to an aluminum core through electroplating. This type is commonly used in coaxial cable conductors and electrical wiring, where weight reduction and controlled conductivity are priorities.
