Features
1. Waterfall or Parallel Placement
The anchor handling and towing winch consists of two horizontally (Parallel) or vertically (Waterfall) mounted drums which wind the ropes to hoist or drag the weight. The drums are controlled using a brake and clutch, and they have good bearings and rope holding loads.
2. Spool Device (Wire Winder)
To ensure alignment of the steel wire ropes, a groove or spooling device is mounted.
3. Safety Mesures
For more safety and reliability, we customize special features of the anchor handling and towing winch which can include an emergency release, measurement of load, measurement of released rope length, rope evacuation alarm and constant tension towing.
4. Constant Tension Control
Towing winch can be single-drum, double-drum and trip-drum. It consists of reduction box, drum, spooling device, intermediate shaft, hydraulic braking device, clutch and rack, etc. Towing winch is applied in the towing and anchor handling operation of tugs, AHTS and salvage ships, etc.
