Corrugated Board Machinery
Designed for bonding single-faced corrugated board to another linerboard to form a double-faced corrugated board
- Frame base: 150H-type steel
- Heated plates: 20 plates
- Belt tensioning and lifting: Hydraulic drive system
To produce high-quality double-faced corrugated cardboard, it is important to have a reliable bonding process. Our double facers are designed to bond single-faced corrugated sheets with flat linerboards, ensuring the finished corrugated board meets the necessary strength requirements for demanding packaging applications. Double facers machines provide consistent, uniform bonding, enhancing the structural integrity of the corrugated board. With high-speed performance and exceptional quality, they ensure optimal efficiency in production, delivering durable, high-performance corrugated cardboard.
Features
- The height adjustment for the heated plates is controlled automatically via a hydraulic system. Each set of pressure rollers also includes manual fine-tuning, with additional cylinders to manage automatic lifting, ensuring smooth and precise operation.
- The upper and lower fabric belts are equipped with automatic alignment devices on both sides. These are controlled by airbag cylinders, maintaining consistent tension and ensuring stability even at high production speeds.
- The steam is supplied to the heated plates in four independent groups for optimal heat distribution and drainage. The temperature control valves for the last two groups are managed via buttons on the control panel, eliminating the need for manual adjustments. This feature enhances operational efficiency and allows for adjustments based on seasonal humidity, ensuring consistent board flatness.
- The base for the heating and cooling sections is constructed from high-strength 150H steel, providing a solid foundation that prevents distortion from long-term use and settlement, ensuring long-term stability for the 20-meter length of the double facer.
- The pressure rollers in the cooling section are equipped with cylinders that can be easily adjusted. This feature helps prevent excessive compression of the flutes, especially when working with thinner paper or triple-wall board, reducing friction and saving energy.
- The heated plates use a three-point locking design at the center, offering significantly improved stability compared to traditional two-point locking systems, enhancing the overall efficiency and consistency of production.
- The heated plates feature integrated spray nozzles, which can be activated when processing four-layer board. This feature improves bonding and increases production speed, making the adhesive application more efficient and ensuring optimal results.
