Winding wires, also known as magnetic wires, are wires often used to construct coils in electronic components like transformers that generate the component’s magnetic field. The wires are usually composed of a copper or aluminum conductor with a very thin later of insulation.

Yawei provides a wide spectrum of enameled wires, including enameled flat wires, polyimide-insulated enameled flat wires, paper covered enameled wires, copper busbar and so forth. Our products are mainly applied in various transformers and substations.

  • Enameled Flat Wire (Copper/Aluminum)

Enameled flat wires are a type of coated copper or aluminum wires which have undergone processes of stretching and annealing. The wires are mainly used in electrical equipment like transformers and electric reactors.

  • 220 Grade Polyimide-Insulated Enameled Flat Wire (Copper/Aluminum)

220 grade polyimide-insulated enameled flat wires have a wide range of advantages from heat, cold and radiation resistance, high mechanical strength, anticorrosion to strong loading capacity. They are widely used in refrigerator compressors, air conditioner compressors and other electrical equipment working in harsh environments.

  • Round Enameled Aluminum Wire

As a major type of magnet wires, round enameled aluminum wires are made up of annealed and coated conductor and insulation layer. The wire quality varies according to material quality, processing conditions, manufacturing equipment and the environment, but the wire tends to be excellent in cold and heat resistance and mechanical, electrical and chemical performances. It can be applied to refrigeration equipment, transformers and other electrical equipment.

  • Paper Covered Enameled Flat Wire (Copper/Aluminum)

Paper covered enameled flat wires are magnetic wires made of stretched copper or aluminum rods wrapped with insulation paper. They are usually applied to oil-immersed transformers.

  • Non-Woven Cloth/Polyester Film Wrapped Enameled Flat Wire (Copper/Aluminum)

Non-woven cloth/polyester film wrapped enameled flat wires are flat copper or aluminum wires wrapped with 2 or 3 layers of polyester films and non-woven cloth. The wires have outstanding performance in voltage withstanding and are suitable to be used in electrical reactors.

  • NOMEX Paper Covered Enameled Wire

NOMEX paper covered enameled wires have excellent electrical, chemical and mechanical properties. The flexible and resilient wires can also resist coldness, humidity, corrosion and damage from insects and molds. Even exposed to the temperature of 220℃, the wire can endure over 10 years. The NOMEX wire can be applied to oil-immersed transformers, dry-type transformers and other transformers.

  • Enameled conductor

Enameled conductors are magnetic wires made of copper or aluminum wires wrapped with special insulation materials. The conductors are mainly used in oil-immersed transformers, electrical reactors and other electrical equipment.

  • Continuously Transposed Conductor (CTC)

Continuously transposed conductors are enameled wires wrapped with special insulation materials. The conductors are often used in large oil-immersed transformers, electrical reactors and large-capacity dry-type transformers. The conductors are essential transformer components for a spectrum of merits, like reducing the equipment size and eddy current loss, high mechanical strength and saving wire production times.

  • Copper Busbar

Copper busbar are conductors for large electric currents. As copper is better than aluminum in conductivity, copper busbar is widely used in electrical equipment, especially power distribution systems. The copper busbar is mainly used in primary distribution circuits and primary components of switchgears.
