Gravity Feed Metal Detector (Metal Separator)
Metal Detection Equipment
Metal detection system for detecting magnetic and non-magnetic metals
Gravity feed metal detector, also called metal separator, is operated based on the principle of electromagnetic induction to detect metals. It is a high-precision metal detection and separation device that can detect both magnetic and non-magnetic metals, including iron (magnetic) and non-iron (non-magnetic: copper, aluminum, tin, stainless steel, etc.). During the process of crushing and recycling old materials, metal impurities may be mixed in, which can potentially lead to equipment damage and affect production. In the production process, the presence of metal impurities can cause faults in the screws, barrels, nozzles of injection molding machines and extruders, as well as issues such as pipeline blockages, flow obstructions, exit blockages, and product scratching. The simplest way to address metal impurities is to use a metal separator to automatically detect all types of metal impurities and separate granular and wire-like metal impurities from the raw materials.
