The slurry ice machine developed by MOON-TECH in recent years, is an energy-efficient refrigeration solution designed to optimize performance and reduce energy consumption. Utilizing direct evaporation and subcooled water ice-making technology, the unit overcomes the heat exchange inefficiencies typically seen in traditional ice-making processes, where efficiency drops significantly over time. This innovative approach allows for extremely low energy consumption per ton of ice produced.
The ice machine generates a 0°C ice-water mixture containing ice crystals in real time. Through repeated circulation, it can achieve an Ice Packing Factor (IPF) of up to 70%, delivering highly efficient and effective slurry ice for various industrial and commercial applications, commonly used in a wide range of industries, such as cooling and storage of fish, produce, poultry and other perishable products.
