Casing pipe is often seen as necessary in keeping an oil well running properly. For many oil and gas wells that involve constant drilling and digging, the well casing offers the needed protection for well construction and prevents the surrounding walls from collapsing.

Carrier pipes are another important pipe product commonly used in underground construction projects in the petroleum industry. The carrier pipe, which is typically enclosed within the well casing, is what actually carries oil and natural gas from the bottom of the well to the ground surface.

Each of these steel pipingproducts are built to API SPEC 5CT standards. Different steel grades are used to provide the required strength and durability for a specific oil and gas drilling and transportation application.
