Directional drilling trenchless pipe laying is the mainstream method of trenchless pipe laying technologies. Generally the drilling of directional hole is first carried out and then is reaming, which is a vital process with much works. The shorter time reaming process takes, the safer the drilling and higher the pipe laying efficiency and the better the economic benefits. Therefore, it's vital to choose suitable backreamers according to different strata.
Directional drilling bit is composed of directional bit body and bit blade. It's used for the first process of pipe laying and reaming. The straightness depends on the accuracy of signals and the strength and wear resistance of the drilling bit blade.
Directional drilling bit body should have good signal passing ability in order that the signal bar can send out signals without interference in the bit body. This can also make the boring of pilot hole carried out according to the designed boring path, which can shorten construction time and decrease construction cost.

Operations and attentionsWhen the product is in use, suitable signal bar should be selected and installed into the directional drilling bit body as required and the sealing of cavity should be ensured after installation so that the signal bar can send out accurate signals. Each time after boring process, the signal slots should be checked to see if there is any unsealed place or broken thread. If there is damage, it should be repaired in time to ensure the smooth construction next time and also increase its service life.
Product maintenanceClean and check the product each time after using. Don't collide or heavily press when carrying in order not to damage signal slot and connecting threads. Coat thread dope and screw thread protector on threads.
